Last updated: September 3, 2026This Privacy Policy explains how
TiMailPar ("TiMailPar", "we", "us", or "the Application") handles information when you use the TiMailPar desktop application.
TiMailPar is a desktop application that allows an authorized user to read Gmail messages through the Google Gmail API.
1. Information We Access
When you connect your Google Account to TiMailPar, the Application requests permission to access your Gmail account using Google's OAuth authorization system.
TiMailPar requests the following Google OAuth scope:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly
This permission allows TiMailPar to read Gmail messages and related Gmail information necessary to provide the Application's functionality.
TiMailPar does not request permission to send, modify, or delete Gmail messages.
2. How We Use Google User Data
Gmail data accessed through the Google Gmail API is used solely to provide the functionality of TiMailPar.
For example, the Application may use Gmail data to:
- display messages and message content;
- display message metadata, such as sender, recipient, subject, and date;
- search or filter messages within the Application;
- provide other features directly related to reading Gmail messages.
TiMailPar does not use Gmail data for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes.
3. Data Storage
TiMailPar is a desktop application.
Gmail data accessed through the Gmail API is processed by the Application on the user's device as necessary to provide its functionality.
TiMailPar does not operate a server that stores users' Gmail messages or Gmail content.
Authentication credentials and OAuth tokens may be stored locally on the user's device when necessary to maintain the authorized connection to Google.
The user is responsible for maintaining the security of their device.
4. Sharing of Google User Data
TiMailPar does not sell, rent, or share Gmail data with third parties for advertising or other unrelated purposes.
Gmail data is not transferred to third parties except where necessary to provide the Application's functionality or when required by law.
TiMailPar uses the Google Gmail API to access Gmail data. Google's processing of information is governed by Google's own privacy policies and terms.
TiMailPar does not allow third parties to use Gmail data for their own independent purposes.
5. Google API Services User Data Policy
TiMailPar's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the
Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google user data obtained through the Gmail API is used only to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in the Application.
TiMailPar does not use Google user data for serving advertisements.
TiMailPar does not sell Google user data.
TiMailPar does not use Google user data for creditworthiness, lending, insurance, or similar eligibility decisions.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Because TiMailPar is a desktop application, information processed by the Application may remain locally on the user's device until it is deleted by the user or removed by the Application.
You can disconnect TiMailPar from your Google Account at any time by revoking the Application's access in your Google Account settings.
You can also remove locally stored Application data and authentication credentials from your device.
TiMailPar does not retain Gmail data on a remote server after it has been processed by the desktop Application.
7. Security
TiMailPar takes reasonable measures to protect information processed by the Application.
OAuth authentication is performed using Google's OAuth authorization mechanism. TiMailPar does not request or store your Google Account password.
Because TiMailPar is a desktop application, the security of locally stored information also depends on the security of the user's operating system and device.
8. Third-Party Services
TiMailPar uses the following Google services:
- Google OAuth for authentication and authorization;
- Google Gmail API for accessing Gmail data.
Your use of Google services is subject to Google's applicable terms and privacy policies.
TiMailPar is not operated, sponsored, or endorsed by Google.
9. Children's Privacy
TiMailPar is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to provide consent to the processing of personal data.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Any changes will be published on this page. The "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy will be updated when changes are made.
